The Shenandoah Valley Baseball - Softball Academy and its many coaches have a rich history successfully coaching young athletes throughout The Valley to achieve their goals in the sports of baseball and softball. Mike Bocock, owner of the SVB-SA, has coached over 120 professional baseball players in his 25+ years of experience in the Valley League. A few examples of the current major league ball players that have been enriched by coaches on our staff over the years include: The Shenandoah Valley Baseball - Softball Academy also works closely with many of our high school athletes to help them reach the NCAA level. In just 2011 SVB-SA Baseball and Softball All-Star Games, over 15 of the players involved were offered college scholarships to play NCAA baseball or softball. |

The following players received college scholarships in 2011 for their hard work, dedication, over skill and talent: Tyler Bocock (Chipola Junior College), Bay Liskey and Brian Croushorn (Lenoir Community College), John Siciliano (High Point University), Kyle Weston (North Carolina Asheville), Corey Reed (Rappahanock Community College), Michael Oster (Rappahanock Community College), Travis From (Rappahanock Community College), Adrian Updike (Florida Southern University), Eric Berg (Christopher Newport University), Hunter Brown (Potomac State), & Ryan Fitzgerald (Bridgewater College). All of these young men are graduates of the Shenandoah Valley Basebal-Softball Academy. |
