Lauren Reznik Coach Reznik grew up in the Shenandoah Valley playing softball for the Bridgewater Community Little League. She was a member of the 1997, 1998, and 1999 district and state championship teams as well as the ’99 regional and divisional championship team. Lauren lettered three years as a catcher and first baseman at Turner Ashby High School under former coach Craig Miller. She helped TA win four district championships and one regional championship. She had the game winning hit in the 2004 state championship game. The program’s first and only state title and garnered the Team’s Most Valuable Player award. |

She helped guide Roanoke to a 38-7 record in 2006, third best in school history. She compiled a .314 batting average as a Maroon and hit a game winning double against ODAC foe Lynchburg College. She helped Roanoke win the 2006 ODAC regular season and tournament titles, the seventh of the program, and was instrumental throughout their ‘06 NCAA Tournament Appearance. She sits atop the RC record book with a perfect fielding percentage. Coach Reznik was the varsity assistant coach at Lord Botetourt High School in 2009 and was an assistant coach for the Virginia Extreme Force 16U team that summer. She has also coached volleyball at Bridgewater College and Eastern Mennonite University. Lauren earned her master’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management from James Madison University in 2010. She is currently studying for her strength and conditioning specialist certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Lauren enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her chocolate lab, Maverick.
